Given today's complex ransomware attacks, which can destroy critical national infrastructure (energy, water, transportation, financial, and healthcare), Pure Storage positions modern storage solutions in a way that enables both visibility and resilience (recoverability). Tailoring marketing strategies across India and SAARC—where digital maturity ranges from AI-ready, hyper-connected urban hubs in India to developing, mobile-first environments in countries like Srilanka or Nepal—requires a "Globally Aligned, Locally Defined" approach. To maintain a core "Pure" narrative while adapting, the strategy must focus on consistent brand identity while localizing the channel mix and content delivery.

Customer experience is a key theme in your career. In B2B infrastructure, what does “richer customer experience” practically mean?

In B2B infrastructure—which includes sectors like FSI, telecommunications, data centers, healthcare, energy grids, and logistics—a “richer customer experience” moves beyond functional reliability.

Richer experiences are tailored to the specific context of the client's industry, company size, and individual user roles, so an account-based approach is very helpful here.

Finally, when customers think of Pure Storage in India & SAARC, what perception shift would you most like marketing to achieve in the coming years?

Based on Pure Storage's rapid growth and strategic direction in the India and SAARC region, the most critical perception shift that marketing should achieve in the coming years is moving from being perceived as a "premium all-flash storage vendor" to being recognized as the "definitive, AI-ready, sustainable 'Data Platform' of choice".
